The Department of Foreign Languages was founded in 1991 as one of the principal units of the University. The department performs educational, methodological and research work. The scientific-theoretical and methodological level of the department staff allows to give necessary theoretical and practical training to students in foreign language disciplines. The department employs 20 lecturers. All of them have higher education, relevant qualifications and work experience in BIP, other universities of the Republic, as well as in higher educational institutions outside Belarus. The department staff actively participates in the national and international scientific research conferences held both in the Republic of Belarus and abroad.
